Black-Eyed Susan

Rudbeckia hirta

The large blossoms (2 inches or more across) on this familiar plant have a chocolate brown center and occur one atop each stalk.  Stems and leaves very hairy.

1-3 feet, sun or partial shade.


Summer-Early Fall (June-October).
