Bladder Campion

Silene cucubalus

A weedy plant with clusters of white flowers (3/4 in. across) having 5 deeply notched petals and a puffy, heavily veined calyx, which may be either green or pink, with the veins a darker color.

12-18 inches, sun or partial shade.

Spring-Summer (April-August).

Leaves smooth, untoothed, ovate, in pairs along stems.
