Malva neglecta (Malva rotundifolia)

The white or lavendar flowers are small (3/4" across) and appear in leaf axils.  Leaves rounded with shallow lobes (3, 5, 7), 2-3 inches across, on long stems growing from the main stalk or vine, which trails on the ground from the taproot.

The name refers to the form of the seedpods (not shown), which are flat cylinders.


6 inches, creeper; sun or part sun.


Spring-Summer (April-October).

Flowers often striped.
