Lance-leaved Coreopsis   (Tickseed)

Coreopsis lanceolata

Each bright yellow flower appears atop a thin green stem, and is about 1-3/4 inches across.  Each of the eight petals is distinguished by three notches at the end. Leaves are long (up to 6 inches), thin (less than 1/2 inch) and lanceolate--pointed at both ends.

1-2 feet, sun.

Spring-Summer (May-August).

Each petal with three terminal notches, forming four lobes.
