Gray Goldenrod  (Field Goldenrod)

Solidago nemoralis

The narrow flowering plumes of this species tend to nod to one side rather than being symmetrical. Florets have up to 9 rays. Leaves are narrow and densely packed along the stem, which is downy or hairy and hence rough;  leaves also rough.

Summer-Autumn (July-October).

Fine gray hairs on stems and leaves.
