Hemlock-Parsley

Conioselinum chinense

Large umbels (6 inches across) of many white flowers resemble both Wild Carrot and Poison Hemlock. However, this plant has stems that are smooth (not hairy, like those of Wild Carrot) and uniform light green in color (not green spotted with purple, as those of Poison Hemlock).  The leaves are very finely cut, almost fern-like.

2-5 feet, partial sun.

Summer (July-September).

Note the finely-cut leaves and smooth green stems.
