Henbit

Lamium amplexicaule

Two-tone, small purple flowers (each under 1/2 inch) atop vertial stems. Leaves are round and indented around the edges; those on flowering stems join in pairs at the base, forming a collar around the stem. Leaves near the base may have long stalks. Plant semi-reclining, with flowering stalks erect.

Under 1 foot, partial sun.

Spring-Autumn (May-October).

Often forms patches rather than appearing as single plants.
