Horse-Nettle

Solanum carolinense

Flowers are about 1 inch across and have petals of white or lavendar, with five very prominent yellow anthers exerted at the center. The leaves are long, fairly wide, and have large teeth (somewhat resembling dandelion); stems are prickly.
