Marsh-Marigold  (Cowslip)

Caltha palustris

The yellow flowers, about 1-1/2 inch across, occur on branched stems above the leaves, which are kidney-shaped--round with a deep indentation where they join the petiole connecting them to the stem. Leaves are slightly toothed.

1-2 feet, sun - partial sun. In or beside water.

Spring (April-June).
