Field Pussytoes

Antennaria neglecta

This plant has basal leaves that are lanceolate, pointed, and no more than 1/2 inch wide; each leaf has single prominent vein. From the base rise purplish stems bearing a cluster of flower heads about 1/4 to 3/8 inch long that look like tufts of cotton.


To 1 foot, sun - partial sun.


Spring (April-May).
